Abstract
Many entities in dermatology have names that sound alike, look alike, or are named after the same person. This homology makes learning these diseases daunting not only for the first year dermatology resident scrambling to understand the differences, but also for the third year resident who must remember them for the boards. This list targets some of the most commonly confused entities by name, and provides both clinical descriptions and key board-relevant facts.
